Review by hotel critic
As a history teacher with a deep love for all things French, my recent stay at Campanile was a delightful blend of comfort, history, and gastronomy. Nestled just a short ride away from Cabourg, this hotel proved to be an excellent base for exploring the historical gems in the area.Upon arrival, the warm welcome set the tone for a pleasant stay. The simple yet cozy rooms boasted all essential amenities, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The highlight, however, was the Campanile restaurant, where culinary innovation met historical inspiration. The menu, curated by talented chefs, offered a journey through Normandy's flavors, perfect for a food enthusiast like myself. The lounge at the restaurant, reminiscent of a chic Parisian bistro, allowed guests to savor local drinks while relishing a good meal. This ambiance, combined with the unlimited buffet, made dining an unforgettable experience. This innovative approach to dining truly set Campanile apart from the nearby eateries like Bodega Es Tapa Ti and Courtepaille. In conclusion, if you seek a comfortable stay infused with a taste of French culinary excellence and historical charm, Campanile is the place to be. My visit not only satisfied my wanderlust but also fulfilled my cravings for a gourmet getaway.
